Grant/ Contract  dilemmas

Organisations fully rely on grants/contract funding require extreme care not only selecting who to receive funds from but also how to account and report. There is every possibility that some of your expenditures will be dis-allowed by donor, and you have no sources to cover these short-falls. The Cash crisis is also a common feature in grant/ contract funding environment. Interestingly, you will often find that donors specially want to keep their fund in a separate bank account designated for their projects but expects you to continue spending (of course from other donors funds) while they are late in disbursing.
